Is this a PC feature, none of the alt/ctrl/command jeys on my mac +h+j do anything?
It's whatever the keystrokes are to fire off the menus at the top of the screen.

Be glad you don't know about it. My fingers just go there.

I think this is possibly the best thread that's been on here in a while!

Cracks me up but also makes me think how passive aggressive I'm being. I've been out of bed for 3 hours on a Saturday morning to make music & so far I've written 8 emails, read this forum & the Logic Pro forum for about an hour, posted 4 times. make 1 cup of coffee, eaten 2 bowls of cereal, sent 3 txt messages, answered 1 phone call. I did actually spend about 20 minutes editing some percussion on a track and while waiting for it to render before I master it and send it to a client for approval I thought I'd check in here again.

Now I'm considering going round to the local bakery for some bread and then getting the paper before my wife gets up. Productive morning but not much music made!!! Oh no here comes my wife, that means no more music for me!

Have a great weekend ya'll

I can totally relate to this - I find it impossible to get into music when I know I will have to deal with either my son or my partner at some point afterwards - I spend the whole time getting distracted and expecting to just start getting into it when they turn up

so instead I have to wait until they're in bed

the down side there Is I got kind of burned out from the excessive late nights

Weed used to help me get into it with limited time

now I've quit weed and my music production has stopped pretty much entirely - not saying that I need it, just that's what happened

thing is this time I have no desire to go back to smoking

so I'm just waiting for the muse to remember me and come back to visit again, however long it might be

I'd be happy with learning to switch the creativity on and off at will

You get 4000 posts when you have just too much free time to spend on forums.
4000 posts 'spread' in a two year forum membership are pretty normal for a daily surfer, though.
