Ableton not returning emails!

Post by PClark » Thu May 03, 2007 7:32 pm

I faxed in an order on Monday, got an email back two days later on Wednesday saying I had to confirm a price, I immediately confirmed the price and asked for a confirmation that the order had been processed but here it is late Thursday afternoon and no response. I even emailed them again this morning! Very annoying! C'mon Ableton, you have got to have better customer service than this! Is this at all typical?

you think 1 day is too long to wait for a response?
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

If it was just for some technical question, no. But it was two days and that is too long when you have yor credit card info out there with nearly a $1000 order pending. It took two days to even get a confirmation that they received my order and now its been another two days after I have confirmed the pricing (which happened because two ableton employees quoted me different prices) and I still haven't recieved a final word. I guess they must be really bogged down over there or something but I paid and I would like to know that ableton is fulfilling their end of the bargan in a timely manner. Is that too much to ask?

You need to take time difference into consideration, too. If you're in the States and you're emailing them in the afternoon or evening, for example, they're already closed.

Yeah, I considered that and my emails have always gone out in the morning. I
guess I'm just used to things happening a bit quicker plus I'm excited to get my stuff. Maybe I just need someone to hold my hand.
