I can look on Google and see many people that are working on simple FTIR designs which IMHO are not practical and are only really useful for developing the software interface (they need some HW to play with).

What are YOU doing? Who are YOU working with?

Yes i already work on FTIR its not reliable for clubs, some emiters of IR light like big 2kw flash cause big interferences, you need projector, the size its very big etc etc, like you say FTIR its not practical but is absolutly easy to do : ) and cheap !!

Now im working on dual sensor with multile grid, i think lemur do on that way with mix of capacitive and saw.
One ingenier friend its joined to helpme for see if we can finally make this work like real and curate and relaible multitiuch.
Time ago i work with cheap saw from china, with support of intelectual judgement of 2 touches, using that can sense to points but its a little slow, and some time erratic.
Software used for enable aplicaiton to work with 2 touches: cpnmouse, microsot MultiMouse SDK, testing some linux things, and waiting the new osx its suposed support multiple pint devices or multitouch not big info form apple just rumors.

I just want he stop fight, just that, i no want he acept or like my project, but this way its not good for me, for he for comunity and for anybody.

3dot anyway thanks for you support and thanks to anyone really like my project, and thanks to all that not like the project but just express the opinion , negative feedback or criticizes without fight and without intentions to putme in ridicule position.

I think you can assume it is coming soon. They've been patenting, hiring, and aquiring big in this area - and not just for the iphone.

I'm not convinced that the method you are attempting is the way to go, but good luck to you. From what I could translate from the JazzMutant patent I think it is based on resistive technology somehow. Though my French is extremely poor, and the online translators are at best, very erratic. If I were you I'd simply prepare your software to be ready as soon as a multitouch interface is on the market. Unfortunately for you that means recoding in xcode/whatever - however you get to export the fancy images, and you know your underlying control concept.

I will say one thing about business though, never ever talk about what you are doing too far in advance. People lose faith in your abilities (as they have no concept of development time), then the product and company, and finally others with bigger budgets can easily overtake your idea before you can make it. It is not a flame on you, just a bit of friendly advice.

trip_out thanks for your words, i never want do this for make big money, i think my only fault its try to do this comercial aplication.
But now its free, i fixed that mistake some time ago, after i make free the software i contacted to all cuotmers buyed my software, nobody want the money back, he just want more fatures : ) so i continue.
Who know some day probably soon can make public the source code of the aplication and anyone can easy change anything need using synthmaker....that be nice ah? : )
