No no problem, you ca use, but its better saw, on resistive you need make a little of more presion over the surface when drag, example draging ball in pad or slider.Mike Goodwin wrote:Im not sure I understand. So you have used one but there are some problems with them when used with your software? As cheap as I can get it done would be the way to go for me. I do not have $500+ to spend on a screen.Dj-Grobe wrote:Yes i have one of that about 2 years ago, resitive, very cheap, one of that you can put over the LCD or CRT.
Work, but for drag the best its capacitive or saw, remeber that.
About that cheap, you need fix to the screen because if the touch move you need recalibrate again.
If want cheap one, try to buy one on ebay.
Anyway the sliders now have feature for improve the drag wen use resitive and you loose the drag for few milleseconds : )
You can use that, i just say its better any saw.
You not have 500U$ for but this touch : )
I not have 4000 U$ for import lemur to my country jaja for that reason this project born jaja. (well i have that amount, but consider its too much money)
You can go for that cheap touch, anyway, for 500 you can buy complete LCD + touch.
If you want only the tocuhscreen without lcd, you can buy one saw glass : ) without lcd, usually price its just 90 or 100U$
