The top gets expensive because there are _64_ holes to cut, the minimum is $100 for laser cutting and 64 hand drilled holes approaches $100. Plus the laser cutting is more precise and leaves a better finish.
The bottom part is about $50 for parts and labor.
Anyway, that's 1 option. I'm not too worried about it right now, I have a few weeks to look around, keep my eyes peeled for common objects I can modify to make a box.
I can, I'll start the bidding at $250 plus parts and shipping.PantyTec wrote:I don't have the time. Who could build a simple Sparkfun 4x4 = 16 rubber chicklet unit for me?
And how much?
