Post by Illumin » Sun Oct 28, 2007 4:09 am

here's a track I've been working on. comments/critique of any sorts are welcomed and appreciated!

doesn't have an official title yet, so its labeled as "unknown #1 (10/01/07)", also under the "in the works" album

thanks!

Your track sounds great. Good overall production and mix. Maybe just play around with some filters a little more through the track for some extra movement. Nice work.

Doesnt do anything for me I'm afraid, but thats coz I'm not into trance so my view would be worthless on it.

Imperfected however, I LOVE!! Absolute genius! 8)

I'm not very fond of that rough, sparkly bass. The choice of instruments is nice, even though I find them to be a bit all over the place. A part from that, I like it. The thing is when you build a track around such a short melody with that tech style, you need a beat that stands out a bit. This beat is more suited for a big melody. Hard to explain, hope it helped some anyways.

Im not really into this kind of music anymore but I really liked it.
Like the presence in the bassline, and the programming and rythm/fills etc is quite complex... nice man, especially seeing as its kinda off genre for you....
