If by "in love" you mean sexually, you're right. I am. And it sickens me.

Also, it's Adam killing the old people, not Peter, but you're right, pretty damn predictable.

I agree the Hiro storyline was awful. He's no good without his sidekick, and in fact, I like Ando better. A clear case of two being greater than the sum of the parts.

As for the storyline, the producers have actually apologized for being shitty this season. Let's see if they can make up for it with the remainling 20+ episodes. They've already cancelled the spinoff, so there's hope that they can focus and not dilute.

i really, really liked season one until the very end, thought the last episode was lame. this season is so bad i can't watch, have given up. i hope BSG doesn't suffer a similar fate (wasn't too happy about the end of that last season, either).

Claire and Superboy= lame and forced.

Peter and the homely girl with the fake irish accent = lame and forced.

Bleeding-eyes Bad-actor Girl and and her brother = horrible reeking of "we need to capture the intrest of the Hispanic demo" and lame and forced

Hiro and the whitest-looking-Japanese girl in the history of Japan = dumb.

Anakin and Padme had better chemistry that these pairings. Pretty sad statement.

--------

In all the press shots of the actors doing appearances, the actors always look as if they can't believe peole still like the show. As if at any moment, someone will stand up and declare "this show is rubbish" and the entire thing will come crashing down.

I still watch it every week, though.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

I tried to watch Hero's once and it reminded me too much of Charmed - you know, young people fighting goblins and wizards and such

but at least you weren't forced into watching all the episodes you missed of "Tell me you love me" last night

this was following a 2 and half hour french film "Kings and Queen" (I rented it) - and it was good, in a French way, like French fries

I did watch the Greenbay Packers earlier but Sundays are usually dedicated to HW and the such

in America it's a Holiday today so we stayed up late watching movies last night

oh but the season finale of "Curb your enthusiasm" was HILARIOUS!!!!

and I did like TMYLM but it's just so dramaful

Hero's not so much -

if you watch hero's do you watch Bionic Woman, Life and Phenomenon?

sort of how I watch all the Law and Orders

I know exactly what you mean

I was watching Bounty Hunter Girls: Miami saying to myself - wow this is awful but wow I like it

and you may remember a show called V. I. P. with Pamela Anderson - yeah, I never missed an episode (ever)

awesome show

Did I miss something? I thought I read somewhere that next season of BSG is the last one.

as i understand it, the 2 hour "razor" BSG movie runs this month. then BSG returns for first half of last season in 08, with second half of last season in 09 (writers strike may have had something to do with this).

i meant "last" as in preceding, not "last" as in final.

I would like to offer the perspective that this discussion ("this show is so lame it makes my brain rot but I'm still watching it and then discussing its finer points with other people who are also, ultimately, disappointed")

... as further evidence that TV is A Bad Thing.

kick the habit! Make more music, read books, make love to people! Get out there; seize the day!

thanks for listening.

sparklepuff wrote: I find that this season is a hell of a lot more dumbed down. How hard was it to figure out that Hiro was to become Takezo Kensei?? Or that Peter is the one going around killing off the old folks? I don't even know why I bother watching any TV at all. This and the Office are the only shows I watch, and the occasional CSI:Pick-A-City which is guaranteed to be on some channel at any given time of day. I'm going to bed now.

I agree with the Hiro shit, but....

I think you're wrong about Peter killing off the original heroes. A friend of mine has a similar theory, but this is where shit doesn't make sense to me...

Peter was locked up for a good 3 months right? When he escaped WITH ADAM the first thing they did was vist Nathan to cure him. Peter was CAUGHT...by the Hatian and shipped to Ireland maybe 10 minutes after healing Nathan. So how does that explain all the time spent killing Hiro's father, and trying to kill his own mother?

It's gotta be Adam Himself.....otherwise the writers fucked up even worse than introducing West and his silly subplot. Who else could fall off a roof and survive it? Claire? Not likely...she's in California. Sylar? Nope...he was in Mexico, and the absence of his powers and the "medication" could prove The Company had him since the night of the explosion anyway. It also can't be Peter because Peter still had his memory when he cured Nathan...The rules out any theory of a time gap between the breakout and the hospital visit because...why would Peter attack his own mom while working with Adam? Well that was definitely the work of The Nightmare man anyway.

As for Lost making its viewers feel stupid..."LOST" is possibly the smartest bit of entertainment on television these days next to DEXTER. The Season 3 finale? Man I've picked that shit apart in so many ways that it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to say for sure....

1. Who was the woman in the accident with her son? Juliet's sister and her son? Claire and her son? Maybe, but the kid was too old.

2. Who's in the casket/who died? Black neighborhood? Yeah, but the coffin was too short to be Michael.

3. Who did Kate have to get home to? Her child?

4. Why does Jack need to get back to the The Island?

5. Is Jack's dad really still alive? Remember in Season 1 there was no corpse in the coffin.....

Seriously...LOST IS DEEP. Yeah some things were pretty easy to figure out all along, but the finale of Season 3 was possibly the DEEPEST season finale of a show ever. What a serious mindfuck. I'm just pissed that we're only getting 8 new episodes next year....

...and no "24". :(
