I find that this season is a hell of a lot more dumbed down. How hard was it to figure out that Hiro was to become Takezo Kensei?? Or that Peter is the one going around killing off the old folks? I don't even know why I bother watching any TV at all. This and the Office are the only shows I watch, and the occasional CSI:Pick-A-City which is guaranteed to be on some channel at any given time of day. I'm going to bed now.
I agree with the Hiro shit, but....
I think you're wrong about Peter killing off the original heroes. A friend of mine has a similar theory, but this is where shit doesn't make sense to me...
Peter was locked up for a good 3 months right? When he escaped WITH ADAM the first thing they did was vist Nathan to cure him. Peter was CAUGHT...by the Hatian and shipped to Ireland maybe 10 minutes after healing Nathan. So how does that explain all the time spent killing Hiro's father, and trying to kill his own mother?
It's gotta be Adam Himself.....otherwise the writers fucked up even worse than introducing West and his silly subplot. Who else could fall off a roof and survive it? Claire? Not likely...she's in California. Sylar? Nope...he was in Mexico, and the absence of his powers and the "medication" could prove The Company had him since the night of the explosion anyway. It also can't be Peter because Peter still had his memory when he cured Nathan...The rules out any theory of a time gap between the breakout and the hospital visit because...why would Peter attack his own mom while working with Adam? Well that was definitely the work of The Nightmare man anyway.
As for Lost making its viewers feel stupid..."LOST" is possibly the smartest bit of entertainment on television these days next to DEXTER. The Season 3 finale? Man I've picked that shit apart in so many ways that it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to say for sure....
1. Who was the woman in the accident with her son? Juliet's sister and her son? Claire and her son? Maybe, but the kid was too old.
2. Who's in the casket/who died? Black neighborhood? Yeah, but the coffin was too short to be Michael.
3. Who did Kate have to get home to? Her child?
4. Why does Jack need to get back to the The Island?
5. Is Jack's dad really still alive? Remember in Season 1 there was no corpse in the coffin.....
Seriously...LOST IS DEEP. Yeah some things were pretty easy to figure out all along, but the finale of Season 3 was possibly the DEEPEST season finale of a show ever. What a serious mindfuck. I'm just pissed that we're only getting 8 new episodes next year....
...and no "24".
