^ hey, thanks for the comments. I totally understand about mixed messages, and I appreciate both the good and the bad. I've had several friends here critique the mix, and I sincerely appreciate everyone's time in listening and giving me your opinions. They're all valid, and they all help me hone my craft. I'll be releasing each song as a single, and possibly as Livepacks. Currently talking to a couple of labels, so I'll keep you posted.

I'd say that the last 15% is totally asskicking, so do listen to that ending, and listen loud :)

Also, I'm trying hard to move away from the Sausage-Dickweed-Tiestosterone-Trance and more into what I'm calling melodic-tech-house (if such a hodge-podge exists). Hope I made a few strides :)

Yeah, this entire set is more or less mine, except track 3 is all Beats Me, and track 2 is a collab between me and Beats Me.

That last track is fun fun...I loved riding the 303 filter at the end to add a li'l bit of performance (if knob twisting and making orgasmic faces at the audience counts as a performance). When I finish out the track, I'll be sure to let you know.

great thx, ok if I slice up the mix so I have an mp3 of that last song? I'll promise not to abuse/post/sell/... it in anyway.
Well I guess you can't stop me but asking is always more polite ;-)

dude, the day I saw a song of mine on Limewire, I actually celebrated. It's the only real measure of success in the Internet age.

good work!! you're way ahead of me so i'm in no place to criticise, but ...

24.00 - 30.00mins rocks for me. you've got the funk and then you throw it all away ... just my taste i guess.

also for a live set it sounds a little bit DJ mixed between tracks at times. but as i said, i'm not even close to a full live set so nice one!! very impressive to have a proper dancefloor set of original material. i'm jealous ...

the day some idiot took my reason file from reasonstation , changed the midi part of one of the synths , killed my drumtrack with some stupid overcompression and posted the disgrace -ok my song wasn't so much grace to start with - on some other music forum I wasn't exactly celebrating. That was supposed to be my big break :-) ah well , dreams ...

Thanks for the critique. That funky thing was an interesting experiment for me...definitely out of my comfort zone. Glad you liked that part.

Agreed on the "DJ mixed" comment - some transitions took way too long.

After i posted this i ended up going back and listening to the rest and would have to say the end was my favorite.Maybe my tastes are changing, its been at least 7 years since ive listened to any trance. Live packs would be awesome.
