More accurate tap tempo

Post by Martyn » Fri Aug 13, 2004 12:46 pm

Although Live 4 seems to have an improved tap tempo function, it's still nowhere near accurate enough imho.

I'm sure there must be some way for a prog like this to take a more accurate avarage over 64 bars of tapping. If someone accurately taps to a dead straight tune for over 64 bars, a computed avarage should give you a pretty damn close tempo for that tune. At the moment it's far from right most of the time and needs a lot of correcting.

This is a very important feature that could do with some improving. Being able to set the tempo to much finer resolutions would be a good start.

I agree with this.

To Tap the tempo should be more on point!
