Although Live 4 seems to have an improved tap tempo function, it's still nowhere near accurate enough imho.
I'm sure there must be some way for a prog like this to take a more accurate avarage over 64 bars of tapping. If someone accurately taps to a dead straight tune for over 64 bars, a computed avarage should give you a pretty damn close tempo for that tune. At the moment it's far from right most of the time and needs a lot of correcting.
This is a very important feature that could do with some improving. Being able to set the tempo to much finer resolutions would be a good start.

To Tap the tempo should be more on point!

yes Tap Tempo needs improvement..
Abletons..Please look at Motu digital performer..their tap tempo function is simply THE BEST..A great MODEL
