It it possible to set a snapshot point for all my parameters

I used to use dummy clips for this, but as of version 6 there were strangely some values that were not accessable for clip automation. I don't know if this has improved yet.

Another possibility could be with the Python API.

But if one uses (audio) dummy clips, since the parameters are mapped relative to current clip parameters, how does that really help? I'm in the process of setting up midi clips to provide device snapshots; it'd be nice if there was a less labor intensive method.

So I'e been reading this and I don't get it. How are you to save all your paramters to a dummy clip (yes I know what a dummy clip is, I just don't see how you save ALL your settings to a clip instantly).

AFAIK you can't, because only a (subjectively decided?) majority of the paramters are available from the envelope clip menu. This may have changed. Anyone at a computer with a working version of live can verify this. Unfortunately I am at work atm.

Ableton sends all values from all midified controlles, after starting ableton, or loading a Abletonsong!

So ableton can do this! But we want a Button! SNAPSHOT SEND! In this button must be midifiy able!

Toggle midi map mode on then off to update your controller.

... With 3BCR2000 a UC33 a Remote0SL and A Midibox, this happens very quickly

I found out that when I press "STRG" and "M" and "M" Ableton send a snapshot!

Now when I hack my BCR2000, I need a SYSEX String or TOKKEN, that force Ableton to send a Snapshot to my BCR when I change to a other preset!

PLEASE A SNAPSHOT SYSEXSTRING OR BUTTON!
