the ability to move all of the faders at the same time
the ability to move all of the faders at the same time
this is in almost every daw.
The Push / Novation Launch Pad / Novation Launch Pad Pro / Novation Launch Key
/ Launch Control XL / Machine MkII / Machine Studio / BeatStep / Livid OhmRGB / Livid Code V2 / Apc 40 MKII
no computers or synths
20 Copies of Ableton Live Lite.

i have tried this before but it is just like creating another master fader.
the reason i would like to use all faders at once is, sometimes i get a good mix, but a few of the tracks are clipping, instead of manually adjusting every track or typing in values on each track, i just turn them all down a few db and problem solved.

Grouping tracks has been asked for amny times, so it gets another +1 for me. I'd find this very useful too.

Yes, the only real concern is clipping the master.
From the standpoint of 'correctness', I've heard people say that technically you never want any of the track faders to be peaking higher than the master peaks.. but.. I'm not sure exactly why... might have something to do with headroom and dynamic range.. but I don't know.

Jep +1.
I use bus mixing alot. 3 channels for an acoustic guitar played through one channel. All the beats / drums through one master beat channel, but it is anoying when I wan't to solo the drums or the guitar. Then I have to solo the bus channel as well. Anoying, when coming from ProTools.. I think the group audio tracks wish would solve this as well.

As in Live 7, the soloing of a track part of a mixing "group" does not mute the bus track, and vice versa. Are you using an earlier version of Live, or did you not find out?
