Freeze then flatten won't meet my needs, because what are you going to do if you're using the waveform as a guide for adjusting effects, freeze and flatten a clip at every setting? That would take forever.
good lord, your post just made me wonder if there is such thing as an accurate 'soft' oscilloscope. They have come up with soft versions of about everything else, just wondering.
I just have one question, Why the heck do sine waves have peaks and troughs? Why not peaks n valleys?
