You may want to have a look at MFM 2 also...I have both that and timeless and I end up using MFM2 for most things (Live's grain delay is my other go-to.) Can't compare it with the AD one personally though.[/quote]

Well, Thanks a lot for MFM2!!!! It looks a bit tricky, I do preffer simple interfaces, but it's really powerful! and it's €50, and yes, Ricochet is another completly thing, but simple and effective (it looks, and knowing AD it is for sure).
The thing is that both MFM2 + Ricochet would cost me €80 (or 85 +or-), and Timeless is €99!!!!

So it should be fair to compare MFM2 to TIMELESS, and if MFM2 cand do the same more or less than Timeless, I could buy it, and even get Ricochet for multitap (and I love multi-tap delays)

So Thanks guys for the comments, now I would love to have some more feedback on MFM2 before doing any move....! If you don't care

Timeless looks simple as well but poweful, lot of you seem to love it, so somehow I do not know if buying the other 2 and saving 20 euros would be clever, the thing that perturbs me is that MFM2 feels a bit complicated to use, I do not like the GUI at all!, but I'll tell you after using the demos of both, timeless and MFM2.

Thanks again to all!!

The thing about timeless isn't its features (even though it has quite a bit in that department as well) but the sound. I m h o, it sounds just fantastic!

By the way, I have bought Ricochet. Complemets Timeless quite well I would say, since timeless wont do proper multitap (at least not easily, although you could prbably do it using lfo:s, teh maod matris, and quite a bit of thinking...)

Ricochet is quick and simple to use, and sounds good. Pretty much like the rest of teh audiodamage stuff. Timeless is very deep, and sounds very good, but takes some more time to get to grips with.

off the top of my head...

3 tap delay ... with 2 FB chains... one back to the delay before the filter
... the other FB chain is after...

each delay unit has a hi pass before the delay and an Autofilter after.....
you can choose to use 'synced' time or manual...
the delay time controls both just click on it...

if you want to control each taps FB individually ...
- just unmap them from the main racks FB macro knob...

...u can insert a bit of S&H to each delay...
this helps avoiding nasty FB distortion on the filter FB
... and is also good for a bit of 'movement'...

BEWARE OF DAMAGING SPEAKERS/EARS...
do not pull up a delay volume unless you're sure it isn't in the red...
a limiter after the rack set to -6db is advised...

ENJOY !!!
as I said ....basically ... you can build almost any setup you'd like...

I still wish I had more macros though (per rack...)

I'm definently a fan of anything AD, but timeless beats the crap out of anything. Sure, the features arent WOW, but it sounds fucking amazing. The Ricochet is nice, but as the first answer said, it's main use is for adding a "wow that's an analouge delay, right?" part every now and then, but Timeless gives you a much broader palette and can be adapted to anything.

Delays in general are very important to me for coloring and adding movement, and my current tools of choice are: Timeless, PSP 608, Ricochet, Spektral Delay, OhmForce OhmBoys, Camelspace and DubStation. They're all great for something and together they really give me any option i'd ever need.

Also. the interruptor offers 7 free delay effects that all have their unique sounds, if you're into AD stuff it's definently worth checking out.

But really, Timeless is a bargain, get it.

Agree. If I could only have one delay, it would be Timeless.

You can hear how I use Timeless to emulate feedback in the blog post (audio samples too):

Recommended cool plug-in.
