Now let's see...if I can figure out a way to enter all those URLs into a FlashGet job...and point the downloads to a 1000GB drive...now that would be something!

Seriously; thanks for posting all those links, it might behoove folks to save them off somewhere just in case...
Live 9.1 <> occasionally Reason 4.0.1 <> Reaper.latest! <> Windows 7 on a bespoke Intel Q6600 <> ASUS P5E <> 8GB RAM, M-Audio Delta 2496 and that's it.

Speechless.
Now THIS is what this forum should be.
Thanx man for the links...it will take some months to chek them all.

I've been looking through these trying to get some good dub samples (voice overs, sirens, delayed guitar chords, etc...). I'm not having much luck...

Anyone know where I should be looking?

It's not how good it is. It's what you do with it that counts!

TELL ME WHICH LINKS ARE DEAD
so I can pull them out, I will happily do so.

I've got a display case full of gleaming turds that says otherwise...

Thanks for the links. Although I don't think there's quite enough.

Now that depense on the mic, if you record from a £250 mic your get good results but if you get a mic from your local supermarket, do you really think it's going to be as good?? is the drum hit going to punchy, recorded in a recording studio, or in you bedroom?

How many companies out there put a case that's worth more than the diaphragm on a mic and sell it for 250?

And if you're telling me that good things aren't produced with free/cheap tools, you're absolutely insane - I've heard music from used Ataris and Commodore 64's that blows away everything that's ever made the billboard charts in the last twenty years, and I know there are a bunch of people in this forum that will agree.

If the price of your tools means more than your technique, you're in the wrong forum.
