that really depends on what you put in them, though - I find that baby spinach, oakleaf lettuce and such are much beter in that respect. Never cucumbers, iceberg lettuce, that sort of stuff - they're mostly water, if I'm not mistaken,

ok here's a few.

lettuce, cucumber, feta cheese, olive oil, avocado, bacon, pasta and nuts...

Potato Salad 1: Tomatoes, boiled potatoes with skin, lettuce, olive oil and some blue cheese or feta cheese. Sprinkle with oregano, olive oil, vinegar and salt. That will fill you up long time :)

Potato Salad 2: Boil potatoes without skin and cut in little pieces, add lots of mayo and chopped onions with or without tuna :)

Another alternative (not salad) is jacket potato I guess...

Just say no!!!

I sympathise, I love bread but it was giving me chronic indigestion for months, to the point of half a pack of Rennie a day, I gave it up two months ago (apart from once when I just had to have a fresh ciabatta that looked sooo tasty!), and guess what? Indigestion gone. Completely. Feel great, just started eating a lot of soup etc for lunch or salads. Lost weight too!

No one is into potatoes here... Why?
So easy & yummy too!
I prefer it natural, boil them, add butter and a little bit of salt.

Voila,
