If you're on a tight Budget - I recommend these - Great bang for your buck - http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product.asp?id=3315

Or

Save a bit more and go for the KRK's - Great monitors...

Anyone have experience with the Behringer B2030A Monitors?

I think I am going to splurge on them. I have an extreme budget so keep that in mind. Looking at monitors around $300.

I've esi near 05, i think they're good monitor for the price.

If you have more money and good acustic setup in your room, go for krk :)

Cheers

Bought a pair of KRK RP5 for just over $200 not long ago. Not a bad speaker for that kind of money.
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

I had about 300 squid to spend on monitors (I was going to go for either the KRK RP8's or Adam A5's) but after getting some advice from this here forum I saved, I now have the money for a set of Adam A7's (it was between the A7's or Mackie HR624MK2), happy dayzzzzz!! :!:

How did you get from 300 to 1200 ....

I am not going to be able to make that jump any time in the near future.

SO what should I grab at 300 for a pair?

No Charlie mate I went from 300 pound sterling to 600 pound sterling, the A7's are £597 for a pair. If I were you I'd save a little bit more and go for a set of Yamaha HS80M's failing that you could get the little brother, the HS50M's which are cheaper, both of which are HIGHLY recommended.

Truth is I dont need really bumping volume I just need accuracy to get my mixes right.

I want as much balance as possible for my buck.

Ill look into the HS50M.

haha ok much cheaper but.....

UK£ 584.30 = 871.89246 U.S. dollars

I have to keep my budget at like 400 USD MAX really looking to spend 300. I just dont have any surplus these days and I have to stop mixing on headphones it is killing my mixes.
