It is no biggie for me - too much work and family commitment this weekend.
Being in from the start (if similar to last year's beta) means 20 plus installs/uninstalls of over 110 MB, does a bit of a number on the windows registry and each beta only lasts a few days and then the next one is upon you. If your internet is bandwidth restricted, or you have to pay fines for going over download limits, as many are, coming in later helps too.
It really does require plenty of time and commitment to put into it. I will try and make the second round, which last year was after 6 or 7 betas. And the worst, most horrible bugs are usually discovered by then by those who did the donkey work in the first session. Yay, someone else can feel proud to be first this time around, but I'll just jump on after you've carried all the load and get to the good stuff
