tarekith, no more zooming? can you still grab the timeline and zoom?

i feel like you just told me my left arm is gone... not looking forward to that little change. :?

Also, dropping the warp marker right where you want it should be no prob cuz there is already one there marking a transient... right? or are there still sort of unmarked territories?

I 2nd that Live should find where the first down beat is. just make sense.
I frequently find it and "set 1.1.1 here" as my first thing so that's cool.

You can still zoom above the loop brace, it's just a much smaller target to mouse to, so i find it takes longer now.

Transient detection is a lot better than Live 7, but still not perfect. I find I still need to manually adjust almost all my warp markers when warping new songs. It's by no means automatic still.

i'm hoping your just experienced and awesome at warping w/Live 7 that Live 8 is not makin your day.

I didn't quite nail down an awesome (and predictable) process with warping, so i feel lucky i didn't spend time on it now that it's changed. And hopefully the average user can cope with the changes.

I like the new way better, but I mostly am editing smaller clips, not whole songs...
