This is all i wanted to hear. :D For real though bro, you got the NICE plan! You just inspired me. I'm going to have to go do a little survival stocking up and preparing. This shit is no joke. We should get a secret location where all the Ableton people can meet up and we can have our own society. It will be like the forum but in real life!
Its amazing the silliness you find when you have survivalist entered as a category in stumble.

Am i a legit survivalist?
Nah... not really.. but i can hunt kill and gut a pig if i need to.

Stumble is a very cool waste of time that you can add to Firefox.
Fire fox is an open source browser.
When you have stumble installed you set a bunch of criteria for it, then hit a button and spend the rest of your life reading any kind of rubbish you might imagine people could put up on the web...
I LOVE IT!!
I have mine set for conspiracy theories..
Alternative politics..
Survivalism..
Anarchism..
Religion..
Atheism..

Well..
all the good stuff really.
I highly recommend it.

 Nice! I'll check that out. I already rock the firefox. I just don't know anything about all those plug in things. So you are into the "conspiracy theories" huh? You ever hear of Alan Watt? Dude breaks it down HARD. He has a podcast called cutting through the matrix that is worth a listen. He also has a website that will come up if you Google his name.

I have three guns.
An over under pump action shot gun to protect me.
A side arm on me at all times.
A high powered hunting rifle to shoot game.
I also have a long blade hunting knife and a machette.
For back up i have a sports hunting bow.
I have three animals.
A rottweiler.
A hunting dog.
A cat.

The cat is there to keep the rats and mice off of my food stash.
The hunting dog is there to help me,, well,, hunt.
The Roty is there to protect my property while i am away hunting.

If, for some reason, i am unable to hunt and my food runs out, i can eat the cat as i will no longer have food to attract rats and mice.
Once the cat has gone i can eat the guard dog as there is little for it to guard.
The hunting dog will be the last to go...

I also have a battery bank and wind power to keep it charged.
Thats there to run my lap top with Live on it...
+1..... Well pretty close! I've got 2 hunting dogs, (a runner and a putter upper).
I don't carry a small arm.. Prefer the 'grasshopper' technic....
Let's not joke about this, as it really could be just round the corner.....

Curious, I didn't think over & under shotguns were pump action.

For those who want to have one just to scare people on the other side of the door, you could also just get an old school credit card swiper.

Let not get this twisted...

A flash mob is group of people dressed in leotards, sweatbands and leg-warmers carrying boomboxes, blasting music from Flashdance

Guns are for pussies. Real men defend their turf with cutlery.

Americans scare me deeply. I wonder what element of survivalism includes for killing other people with guns.

If the starting point is that everyone is out to get me then fine, what about the starting point being everyone could work together by pooling their resources?

In the UK survivalism amounts to some freeze dried milk and a tent. We can also make tanks out of driftwood a la A-Team.

Oh, and we like knives. Yeah, big, sharp, pointy ones. Or bread knives.

...or just a lemon zester will do.

I plan to pool my resources. But I also know that there are plenty of bad thuggish people out there who are not planning. If those people plan to harm those I care about to get their way, I'm (sadly) ready to do what is needed to protect us from their violence. There is nothing wrong with preparing yourself for reality. And I know of plenty of UK folk who are doing their best as well (despite various gun bans).

There was a day when I thought I would never own a gun. I now understand that guns are not the problem - people are (very tired cliched line I know).

Respectfully...
