Especially when I sold my virus C on the assumption of using the powercore.

Mate they are clearly f*ckers.

I have got 2 or 3 of their cards, sittin in an old machine now cos the Virus was so unusable.

Basically I am not oging to buy any of their products again in the future (either company).

And, I guess by way of compensation, the virus is a bit meh, whatever these days. There are quite a few soft synths which are as good.

At the moment I am building a modular analogue synth so might sell the powercore cards. . .

Cheers

TS

yes mate,

to be honest the virus really really isn't all that.

It's a digital VA, meh whatever there are a million softsynths that cost less do as much etc.

I think that the Virus gets a lot of love because it was sh*t hot years and years ago and it's got a lot of usable presets. It doesn't sound that amazing to me,

Get the SSl and buy something like Sylenth. . .

just wanted to let you know guys, how ACCESS music & TC ELECTRONIC respect custommers:

the virus is still not fixed, 5 years already and we are said it will be fixed, 5 years already.

6 montgh ago, after publishing an online petition that is signed by 250 people we were things would evolove in a "couple" of weeks.(the link somewhere up in the thread"

This thread will let me know at the end how long will have taken a WORKING UPATE in ACCESS and TC way of thinking.
that's 3 years I m waiting, many others are in the same case.

If you were interested in any of those compagnies products, I highly recommand you think it twice......

.. for their insane lack of respect.

and If you re a virus user or planned to be, you can bring your sign here:

Yes, talk is cheap......Access obviously don't care about us as they are making the cash with the TI.
Irony is that I sold my ti to downgrade to the powercore, thinking the plug-in and platform in general would make a more complete contribution to my studio.....It is sour note all around.

I see this is still going on. Holly crap do not buy that piece of shit. I never swear in this forum but dam that piece of shit deserves it. Also dam Access for turning there back on it's customers and still selling that, yes ill say it again. Shit product to people. Virus is a good synth. There are many others that are better and cost a fraction the price. DO NOT BUY THE POWERCORE VIRUS!

Support software like
Sylinth
Rob Papin
Ohm Force
Gforce
uhe
Native Instruments (some people love to hate them but Reaktor, Massive, Absynth, FM8 are all great products).
AAS
Cakewalk, yes cakewalk they now own z3ta and Rapture is fantastic sounding.

The list goes on and on
