An impressive list for some of you.

The question is, how many are you using at one time in a live performance?

All depends. Most of my live performances are experimental/improv; half the time I don't know what I'm going to do next until I do it...

On a regular basis:

Blue
TruePianos
LoungeLizard
CamelSpace
Zebra2
WizooVerb
EpicVerb
Density

I have more, but they don't get regular use. The above usually find a way into most things I do.

Ah, yeah. That's cool. Exact same way that I approach live performance. I need to do a count of how many plugs I'm running in my current template. Hmm.

Its all the same, only the plugins change
CPU, it seems is wasting away
Another website, where the gadgets are so free
Id download all night ev'ry single V S T

Chorus:
On a laptop, on Ableton I jam
Can't help it, man: I am what I am
Yes that's right, I am what I am

I rarely sleep, sometimes its not for days
And the tracks that I create, only get done a little ways
Sometimes you tell the time
By the preset that you load
When it's time to mix it down, you're about to explode

Chorus

I walk these streets, a loaded laptop on my back
Doesn't matter if it's PC, doesn't matter if it's Mac
I been everywhere, still I'm standing tall
Ive got a million plugins an I've rocked them all

On a laptop, on Ableton I jam
Can't help it: man: I am what I am
Om my laptop, I got plenty enough RAM
Can't help it: man: I am what I am
Am what I am, am what I am

[i don't know why i had to do that]
UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.

Mainly Live plugs as much as possible. When I need higher quality EQs and compressors (not needed much since L7), I'll go with Kjaerhus.

For extra/strange stuff, I'll use Camel PhatSpace. Will dip into Nitro for filtering and other madness. Will use Ohmicide to rip paint off walls.

Of course, Guitar Rig for guitars.

instruments: sq8l*, battery
compression: urs 1970 (only for monitoring), uad 1176, vca, la2a, precision multi
equalizers: urs a 4-band (only for monitoring), uad cambridge, pultec
room: bx-control*, retrodelay*, crs plate, spinaudio roomverb (both only monitoring, i will use hardware for recording delays/echo)
tools: daft funk*, lofi*, littlefrantic, uad moog

* freeware

makes a total 18 right now (my girlfriend only likes the retrodelay, she waits for the perfect pitchshifter). 5 are free, 4 are stolen, 9 are paid (7x uad). i´m a good boy lord.
