I used it to make a ringtone for my mum. She'd typed in this Danish children's song on her old Nokia, but her new one didn't allow for that, so I had to make MIDI of it...

Other than that, bugger fucking all. But I know some people like it.

Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Me too, but you can write cool and good sounding tunes in it, unless you are into gear wank.

I don't use it, but I have a singer-songwriter friends who uses it to multitrack recordings of his music. he uses the built in mic on his macbook, and it sounds decent, my god.

Honestly, I often hear it referred to as a "convenient sketchpad". For that I use AudioHijack. Loads up fast, while I'm still in the right head-space.
I did put some care into GB when I got a license for Channel Strip, and I do use it occasionally as a mastering environment. But this begs the question, why not use a 2-track editor for the same purpose?
I've heard about these pedals too, but I haven't though about how I'd use them.
And Podcasters have some really good tools that are integrated from pre-to-post.
I have a problem with using prefabbed sample libraries, but I like how the librarian works, better yet in SoundTrack.

Yes but from what I understand GB will only be a master.
It's not that hard to walk on water. I've done it. You just move fast.

Opened it once. Laughed. Closed. Never went back.

I hate audio apps that remind me of cartoons.

I guess the ringtone idea is worth something. But with Logic, Max/MSP, and Ableton on my mac, I don't care much beyond that.
