Is this for Windows only or also for OS X

I don't understand how you do that update...
Does somebody care to explain? Do I have to keep the 8.0.2 folder? Because the 8.0.3 folder is just 680 mb big,
compared to the Suite-folder 8.0.2 of 1.5 gb

Thanks in advance!

the suite includes the library which is not installed in the program folder, but elsewhere. The library is big.
The update is only equivalent to the program folder and the various update packs that come with it.

when you download the suite for the first time it brings everything with it.
when you update the program it only bring what needs to be updated.

It still crash when i quit with a set containing a Minimonsta and a Fabfilter Twin 1...(it work perfectly in LIVE 7.016 on the same machine)
it seems to crash only when those synths are automated...that's on MAC OSX leopard
To be sure ( i was curous), i also installed LIVE 8.03 on Windows XP SP3, ant it work flawlessly.......

Maybe a fix for 8.04 ?

(yes, i've sent the crashlogs from the beta to support)

Have you tried to ditch Preferences.cfg and Undo.cfg files?

But keep in mind that some updated include updated library elements. For example, live 8.02 had a lot of updates to the library.

i found a "pattern" for my "crash on quit" problem

it only happen when i record CC automation(CC74 and 71 for filter cutoff and resonance in Minimonsta) in session view directly in the clip.

I agree. It's not only plugins. My Nord Lead automations crashed live, esp the filter cutoff and resonance. It just randomly crashed. 8O

A couple ohm force plug-ins are problematic in Live 8. Minimosta and ohmicide for example both stall live and yield the spinning beach ball for half a minute when you try to change a preset.
