[OT]2012 trailer
Re: [OT]2012 trailer
I have a feeling this movie will be about as a deep as the whole 2012 controversy itself.

same here. 2 pints of lager beforehand, 1 large tub of pop-corn, disengage brain = 2 hours of cgi funUKRuss wrote:I for one am excited by this. I totally LOVE disaster movie special effects nonsense! Who gives a toss about the prophecy!
John Cusak? Pfft, he'll never surpass his seminal performance in 'Serendipity'
Cusak, 2012, special FX, craziness FTW!

Re: [OT]2012 trailer
All you special effects junkies forget that those special effects are typically 15 minutes of a 2+ hour movie. You can forgive the other 1 hour and 45 minutes of complete garbage for that 15 minutes of "Oh wow!"?
Hm, I think that's a good metaphor for being pussy whipped.

Quentin Tarentino presents... Redneck Blood
an army of African slave zombies rises from the dead to wreak havoc on the south, one inbred at a time.

the zombies, they went on to fight for African Slave Zombie voting and marriage rights, decimating the population of the US, which of course made the rest of the world even happier.
I for one welcome our new overlords. no brains, no worries.

To all you haters: get stuffed! You can tell that with this epic doomsday CGI fest, Roland Emerich means business! He's not kidding around anymore!!!
The question is: will we still remember the film in 2013, so that we can be, like "hey, do you remember that epic doomsday CGI fest where the world totally ended in
2012? Wahahahahahaaaaa!"

I quite liked John Cussack (cusak? cussack? whatever) in Gross Point Blank and War Inc.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

I was pretty drunk when I saw this trailer the other day and failed to notice. Is the president black in his flick too?

Re: [OT]2012 trailer
I just saw this because it was dollar day at the dvd shop
I didn't expect much, but I really wasn't prepared for just how much this film sucked. What an utterly astonishing pile of shite.
Wow, Simply.
The most disturbing thing about it was that Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson have blackened their names with it.
You'd have to really suck outstandingly well to manage to make such a phenomenally bad film. I mean, the sheer spectacle of a budget and CGI technology like that, where you can destroy all the world's major landmarks with tsunamis and earthquakes convincingly practically writes itself for you, so you'd have to be a spectacular bell-end to balls it up so badly.
I mean they didn't so much fail to make a good movie, but completely succeeded in making a preposterously bad one. It was of Ed Wood proportions.
I had to watch it out of sheer morbid fascination, but I want my time back.
