I asked you before, and I'll ask you again. Qualify this statement.

i don't really need to qualify anything to someone as rude and arrogant as you are. But, ok, i'll talk it at you for a hot second. See, what you are is an old stuffy record collector who thinks he knows everything. Now, me, i've worked at and managed record stores. And i've been an on air DJ at an independent radio station. Oh, and i've played my orig stuff out live *regularly* for over a decade. I'm higher up on the food chain than you, buddy. You consume. I provide. I listen to my record collection. I don't sit around organizing it and coming in my pants about how valuable my first pressing copy of whatever is. And you know what else i do? I share my knowledge with other like minded people without walking up to them and insulting what they are into. When you came up on this board and asked for suggestions of what electronic music to listen to, i gave you some suggestions and honest feedback. How was that favor repaid? By you insulting the music i listen to and telling me how much more you know than me. Well you didn't know who you were talking to. That's why i wipe my ass with what you think you know.

.lm.
 So, you are telling me that *this* is honestly why you think you wipe your ass with my knowledge of music? Because you have worked at a music store, been a pretend DJ (non professional) and you play out *regularly*...

Dude, I am beyond elated, I thought there might be a chance that you actually did possess some degree of potential musical understanding.

Just sitting here jolly...and you, you're pretty impressed with yourself.

That's really it eh?...

Man, I feel a great weight has been lifted from me. :P

Seeing as how you play out regular and all, what's the gig? Not exactly per se, but if it's original, I am sure you have some online stuff you can share, right? Do you play covers?

Incidentally, I have roughly 6000 CDs and maybe 4000 records, with tons (thousands) of archived CDRs of rarer vinyl that I have traded for over the years. I have lots of friends that are still some of the bigger names in record sales around the world, but I haven't bought a pricey record for a few years. Never been much to sit around drooling over my stuff. More into the hunt. Been spending my spare coin (which ain't much) these days on musician stuff mostly. Spent about 265.00 on open cell foam a few weeks back. Just doing what I can.

Man, I thought you had written some books or something by the way you talked. You're just a schmuck like me at best.

So tell me leisurefluff, how long you been toting that instrument of yours to gigs? Me, I've been playing out and in for about 30 years. Been playing for close to 35 years.

Yeah, most of the stuff you recommended I found really boring, but I never criticized you for that. I still think most of that chill shit is lame, but that's just my opinion.

well, congrats on your 35 years of dicking around. nobody gives a shit.

and congrats on your 1000's of records and CDs. nobody gives a shit about that either.

I'm sorry if my experience with a weekly radio program on a station with 14,000 watts of stereo power that reaches 3 states, nj, ny and pa, didn't impress you. Where did you have your weekly radio show?

you want to know about my gigs? let me help you out, buddy:

although in all fairness, there is an ex student of mine who stole my name for his shitty xbox/halo/etc etc accounts. But all the music related results are mine. I've been busy. what do you do? What's your band's name. If i search for it will there be evidence that it exists?

I don't think i'm a big deal at all. I'm nobody. I'm just a low key electronic musician that's played a lot of shows in nyc. I don't have any huge records out, in fact, i don't really do to much studio stuff. I'm not a big time dj, i'm not a big time anything. But i am more than YOU. You are nothing. You are below the shit i scrape off my shoes. And on top of that, you're a huge asshole too.

whatever pal. Like i've said before, the only one that can't see what a clown you are is you.

I've already looked bro, several times over the last few years. You know, just a reality check when you get all puffed up. There's nothing there man. You're nothing but a kid who thinks he has all the answers and likes to show his ass to everone he disagrees with on the internet. Yeah, you got class alright, at least you've got a lot of them left to attend. From the innocent victimized Muslim terrorists, to doing high class closet sized coffee houses, hole in the wall gigs that you call playing out *regular*, all over NYC, you're just a little chubby punk attempting to do a bad biker imitation on an outdated Myspace page. You know that shit you been scraping' off your shoes fatboy, better put a little of that back for posterity's sake cause it's as close as you'll personally ever get to a real musician.

as I said, once a dick head, always a dick head.

It's obvious you two don't like each other and yet you two spend about 98% of your time here writing to each other. It's flippin' weird.

Leisure old boy, it's over. I apologize for referring to you as I personally have here in this thread, that was entirely wrong.

You owe me an apology too for your thread started with the sole intent to mock me, even though it didn't turn out like you hoped it would.

My "band" is DrXparaMental in case you haven't figured that one out. I should have sent you one of those sarcastic Google bot links, but I most definitely do have more class than that.

Just please don't ever assume that you are some high and mighty defender of some proto faith of your own self important making. That's a lame trip man, and if you keep that shit up, you might just end up some self righteous music lovin' old geezer like me. I know you don't want that.

Just because you pull three colorful feathers of your choosing from your tribe of one's war bonnet, does not a certain brave make.

Peace, if you can find enough real courage to allow it.

In my opinion I am the only one who owes you an apology drX. Im sorry. I see how crazy you act in some posts and wanted to see how riled up I could get you. Your "style" of arguing rubs people the wrong way. Theres more than 8 here who would agree.

well you can have all the peace you want from me Dr. so long as you refrain from talking shit about me.
I'll be happy to leave you be.

as far as me creating a thread solely to antagonize you, i think that's a little self important. I made that thread as a comment on the racism thread and everything that was happening in it. You were certainly a big part of that thread, but hardly the whole picture. And if you go back and read the racism thread, you'll notice that i tried to have a rational discussion with you. You insulted me, and just about everyone else in that thread before you caught any shit from me. I can't speak for others that had a shorter fuse, but i did try. So you want an apology for that other thread? Sure, if it made you feel so bad, i'm sorry. But you did dish out a metric fuck-ton of personal attacks that were WAY more harsh than anything i posted in that thread you're so upset about. Still, no problem, if it will make you feel better, i'm sorry and i can promise you 100% that i won't post anything negative about you so long as you stop talking about me.
