Behringer BCR2000 midi-controler rocks!
I've tried pcr-30, oxygen, Korg Microkontrol, and uc33. Now they will all collect dust on a shelf. I Just unpacked and started to play with the brand new BCR2000. Its all endless rotary controllers, and they recieve midi from live: change a value with the mouse, and the bcr detects it, and adopts the new value. 20 buttons and 32 endless rotary encoders. (the upper row of 8 controller switch between 4 different values each at the touch of a button). Considering that it is just a little more than 200euro, nothing comes close as value for money. I've finally found the perfect live controller for me. Go check it out.
Hard: G5 2*2mhz, 2,5 mb, PB15 1,5MHZ, 1,5 mb, fw410, BCR2000, Korg mikrokontroll, GI20 midi guitar, variax500, Soft: osx 10.4.1: NI Komplete, Ohmforce complete, Pluggo,zebra, filterscape, etc

While it looks Ok and the price is good. I really wish these controllers would have some decent length faders as well as pots. Mixing with pots is not my idea of fun. In a live situation I may want to push up four faders at one time. I cant do that with ta pots only unit.
Of all the portable controllers I have seen that does have faders they couldnt be more plasticky in feel, and actually embarrassing to use.
Why doesnt some company build an 8 channel unit that has decent 100mm faders and at least four pots above the faders for EQ and FX sends. Traditional console stylee...I dont mean the Mackie, or Logic control which are not portable enough for Live/DJ needs. Although thats the kind of build quality I would be looking for.
Perhaps they think no one would be willing to spend the denero, but I reckon a lot of working Dj's would....
Not moaning guys...Just waiting for the right one to come along
Cheers

I got the feeling that he was talking about FaderFox... Musikbörsen is OK, though. Although alot of times you could probably get better prices elsewhere.Mikael Adle wrote:Btw, thanks for the review skeptiktank.
For questions about if they "musikborsen" is a "serious" company. They are one of the biggest musicstores in sweden.
