Don't know if it's a bug or not, but I had to disable this because it made long samples really screwy and actually greyed out the warp button in sample view. It also produced pops and clicks in the sample, due to it's irregular warping. I, since then, deleted the .asd files related to the samples, disabled auto warp for long samples and even collected and saved the project, and that seemed to fix it all. Still a strange problem.

Hi,
Results from Auto-warping may depend on the type of material you use, and also the default warp mode you use. Without more details, or without knowing if that's an issue you experience regardless of the type of song and/or warp mode, it's hard to investigate.

Amaury

Well, it's probably due to the sample being a live recording of a protest (although a rather rhythmical one). I thought at first that it was that warp might have problems with samples in high resolution (in this case it was 96 kHz, 24 bit) but that didn't seem to be the case. I had complex pro assigned as the default warp mode, as to test it's abilities. What surprised me the most, though, was that this resulted in a complete disablement of the warp. As I said, the "warp" button in the sample view was just greyed out, rendering me unable to even correct the warp mode on the sample, or anything warp related for that matter. I wouldn't think that should happen.
The samples sounded like being scrubbed through real fast in the browser, that is if they made any sound at all. Sometimes they didn't even play, just displayed the waveform down below and nothing.
...but as I said, it all went away after deleting the .asd files. They sound normal now and warp properly. Heck, I can even upgrade the warp mode to complex pro and work with it like that now.
