You mean driver error compensation ?Tone Deft wrote:sounds like your delay compensation was reset.
hey thanks 3 phase no it seemed likie something differnt than that. But your input is once again appreciated the delay compensation seemed to have smoothed the pains away.3phase wrote:no no...thats normal with L8.. .. just ajust the makers after recording to make the position of the recording align with the other tracks

thanks though
well it was set off. I set it to off as default because I use a lot of HW and use HW monitoring all the time.Tone Deft wrote:track monitor has to be set to OFF for delay compensation to work.
if you need to monitor (and you will), use the direct monitor on your soundcard.
connect an audio out to an audio inMineral Walter wrote:Well. How is it supposed to set the driver/latency/delay or whatever to get also midi recording synced?

track 1 - an audio track with a short sample in it (I like kick drums)
track 2 - an audio track to record track 1 when it plays
track 3 - an audio track to record the input that's connected to an output on your sound card.
go to arrange view, arm the tracks, hit record, play the sample in track 1 a few times.
zoom in on the waveforms and use the timeline at the bottom of the screen to see how far behind track 3 is from track 2.
oh, and make sure delay compensation is set to 0 ms before you start.
I'll leave it up to you to not create audio feedback. I turn off my monitors when I do this stuff.
delay only happens on recording, not playback.
