quality of bounced/rendered tracks

Post by logos » Sat Nov 02, 2002 9:42 am

in live , rendered to disk tracks (maybe 4 simultanous tracks) seem to be much more weak in quality than the original loops.

is this a bug or are there workarounds?

Have not really noticed...

But I find it best to post-process rendered tracks, even if only to add a little EQ. I actually find that I get better sound from a rendered track than I do from the original loops... Strange...

I find the render quality in live exceptionally good. No complaints there.

Suggestion

You might try increasing the gain on the individual loops- this can punch up muddy loops quite a bit....

I notice that when I render tracks that they don't sound quite as good as when I play them pre-rendered in live. Anyone else experience this?
