Automaticalyy advance to next scene
Automaticalyy advance to next scene
Hi!
I use Live with my band for backing tracks.
Every scene is a new song and we just start every scene manually with ENTER.
But there is one moment, when we are off-stage and we would like the next scene to start automatically.
Is there a way to do this?
thx in advance

ok thats a nice start - follow actions aren't bad, but I can only assign them to single clips in the track - I Can't assign follow actions for the whole master track (or did I miss something).
And about the midi solution: How the hell can I assign a midi note to the master track?
And while I am at it - here is another stupid question:
I have activated the option to automatically select the next scene when starting a scene - this way the drumer only has to hit ENTER - SPACE - ENTER - SPACE
In Live 5 the yellow selection marker jumped down - but in Live 6 the yellow bar stays. In a live situation this might be a bit confusing.
Thx in advance,
Yours Flo

Great tip! Thanks for sharingkennerb wrote:You could creatE a midi track and have a note assigned to fire off the next scene once it hits it.
I have been thinking about how to do this, and this works like a charm.
Finally I can make my Ableton Live do what good old Notator could
