Transforming Does Ableton have that effect
Does any body know if there is an effect that allows you to transform on a track

are you talking about morph maybe... its so hard to be specific with all these strange terms... I think you are talking about what Kyma or Prosoniq Morph does. if so, get morph, as kyma is an entire system vs. a plugin. when I say morph I mean for a sound to smoothly change frequency from i.e. a chainsaw into a guitar, or a reverse beat into a forward. does this not sounding like a crossfader but a morph...

Could probably be done by just linking a key to Live's gate threshold (w short attack, decay and no sustain)? If that doesn't work, invert the gate.leisuremuffin wrote:if you're talking transformer scratch, try using an unlinked clip envelope for volume.
