How do they shell walnuts so they don't break?

Post by xrayfish » Thu Mar 22, 2007 11:39 pm

I've wondered about this for years. I mean, every time I crack one open it usually breaks, and bits get stuck inside the shell, yet you can buy packets of perfect halves. What's the secret?

Anybody?

They can grow walnuts without shells now. That's how you get the perfect pieces.
