Re: Need Help understanding Saving Attributes of Project
If you save the set in the same project folder, it's probably in the backup folders.
Take a look in the Backup folder inside the project folder and see what you can delete.
But thats the thing. I save it to a new folder and even with a new name.
It is only then when i hit „Save“ and still ...

Need Help understanding Saving Attributes of Project
Hi everyone.
So i am having an „issue“ that i consider new as i cant recall having this in old-er Live versions
Lets say i have a Project that became too big and i want to save a „tidy up“ optimised version of it.
1) I remove all things i don`t want
2) I "save Project As..“ and give it a name ...

Drop Outs in Rendered Files almost constantly in 12.4.12 Beta
So i am testing the beta and also posted on Centercode and send a request to Ableton and they say they cant reproduce the issue.
I am getting a bit mental as i cannot find out why this is happening and am hoping to hear some experiences in case anyone has something similar?
It is irrelevant of ...

Re: Sequoia vs Sonoma performance difference
Slightly offtopic but is there GPU-assisted stem separation on Intel Macs?
On my 2019 Mac Pro it's quiet fast but runs on the CPU only.
Would be cool having it on the GPU as the Mac Pro supports very fast GPUs and even Multi-GPUs. :)
Yes. In the Beta i read that they added this as far as they ...

Re: Any way Widen tracks proportionaly to each other in Arrangement View?
Are you asking for a way to vertically zoom tracks while keeping their relative height difference/zoom factor?
If that's it, then select all tracks and use the alt+vertical scroll gesture.
Yes to the first part of your question.
However am looking if there is a way to „match one Vertical ...

Any way Widen tracks proportionaly to each other in Arrangement View?
So when in arrangement i often will choose two tracks and widen them Vertically to see the Before and after waveform shape when sending something through outboard Gear and back.
So i was wondering if there is a way to Zoom in the Vertical width of tracks so that the are zoomed in exactly the same ...

Re: Pros and Cons of using external drive to work on and store all Projects
Ah i see!
Yes exactly „Apple herrrrroooo! don make us feer ronery“
Ok i think i will just go for it. I also already use the method you use i.e storing the bulk of projects externally and prioritising
projects but i somehow always feel like some projects might jump out and complain about being ...

Re: Pros and Cons of using external drive to work on and store all Projects
These days with SSD and high bandwidth USB... well, you already know the answer since you tried
I need more believers. :-)
Call me crazy but i have managed to mess up things that where too stupid to admit just because i thought i took every aspect in account only
to find out a year or ...

Pros and Cons of using external drive to work on and store all Projects
Hi everyone.
So i was wondering as i at times have the feeling i am running out of space on my 512gb macbook and cant afford to go to 1tb at present.
I realised that sometimes i will open an older Project (which is stored on an External SSD that is huckepacked on the back of the screen of the ...

Should not a Plugin`s GUI currently used come on top of others?
Hello there.
Not sure how to describe it in my poor English
So lets say i use 5 plugins on a track if i then open all 5 GUI-Windows i would expect that the one i click on
should be the one „on the surface“ and not covered by the others.
Right now if i have multiple plugin windows open i have ...
