This has happened once before. But it was on a slower machine. Now I have a zippy machine and it's happening again. When I go to "Open Recent Set" Live (v7) freezes for about 45 seconds. I've deleted preferences (removing the list), and it still does this.

no that doesn't work either. You can delete the whole track and it will unlock the file. annoying. I also don't like the idea of having to resample.

in order to EDIT, Live has to stop all audio. This is unacceptable!

Are you sure he's not just cutting a short loop from one of the tracks he's playing with FinalScratch, not Ableton...since he always seems to use both? I'm pretty sure FinalScratch is capable of doing this (not an FS user myself)... similar to cutting a short loop with the DJM-600 sampler and ...

well that works, but then I have to use 8 different midi buttons to arm 8 different tracks.

Wish there was a way to arm CURRENTLY SELECTED track.
