Sorry, can i just confirm this. Rename files as follows:-

BPM - key -Track name.mp3

For example :-

132 bpm -5A - singled5678.mp3

(I also include the key in my file name)

Then Ableton will pick up the BPM from the filename and adjust the tempo automatically to the next ...

Does anybody have any tips or tricks on how to increase the tempo when Djing with live..

What I am doing at the moment is using my controllers jog wheel(through Bomes MT's software) to nudge the tempo up or down during the mix, in a breakdown.

The only problem with this is if I get a bit ...

The file name is for example..

1A - 131.97 - Dash_Berlin_-_Till_The_Sky_Falls_Down_(Club_Mix).mp3
1A - 131.97 - Dash_Berlin_-_Till_The_Sky_Falls_Down_(Club_Mix).mp3.asd

Then when I import into the scene it just says...

Dash_Berlin_-_Till_The_Sky_Falls_Down_(Club_Mix)

The file names in my scenes are not showing correctly.

I have recently updated my filenames to show the key and bpm at the start, however, when i drag into a scene it doesn't show. Although the folder view in live does show the correct name. The asd file is the same name as ...

With me a reboot never works..same every time...

I should add that ableton does work fine(I still have the long loading issue, just not the skipping) when using my laptop's in built soundcard and no bcd2000 is installed. I have the latest driver for my bcd2000 also.

What sound card you have ? do you ahve any midi devices connected.

When loading Ableton 7 it takes ages to load, good few minutes, enough t annoy.

It has the Ableton Box, and seems to say initialising sound blah blah.. then stays saying that.. eventually it opens up.

I have the following laptop(Vista)...

Sony VAIO AR31E - Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz - 17 ...

When I am Djing with live I notoce that when I hit play on a track it sometimes comes in right away or a bar later.

This tends to vary between tracks during my mix and is quite confusing when it comes to lining up the mix.
