So - maybe I would have to focus on those wanting to be singer/songwriters, or something, that is - people wanting to have great mixes but wants to be ...

Well, the idea is to deliver a radio-ready stereo track mixed & mastered.

So, the client sends me single tracks - that is - every track as a single file, I mix them, and deliver a stereo-track, and do revisions until the client is happy...

Last time I did a remix for a record-company, back in 2003, I got €1200, last time I produced a track for a movie I got €1900...

Well, I couldn't get the proxies to work, they didn't like the flash player, I think.

Still, I got it working by using a free vpn service by secureix.com
I had to register, though, but still - Pandora is Back!

I have a 309 and did at one point set it up together with Live, although I don't use it much with Live at the moment.

There's really nothing special needed to get this to work.

Make sure you enable the midi-out port for your interface in preferences in Live.

Make sure you have put the 309 in ...

I think the reason why this is causing so much head-scratching is not that the way Live works is totally illogical , just that it's totally unconventional in relation to other DAWs. :roll:

With a sm58, I think it is very very easy to get the sound you want.

Just talk with the mic touching your lips - literaily touching the lips - and speak very very soft, in a very low voice, with lots of air, like - almost in a whisper.

Don't use a pop-filter.
Still, try to do the p's and t's away ...

For pop-music, it's usually between -9 to -12, I don't know what style you do.
