its like cramming a whole DJ set in 5 mins. Reminds me of my earlier youthful days going out in a altered state, but instead of 5 mins of time going by I would look at my watch and say damn its already 4 AM :D

I have to agree, warping current dance tracks is super easy and accurate, but when you get into older non-computer made music the beats are all over the place. Then you have to go and add warp markers to keep everything on spot for mixing.

If its not too much trouble could you give me a rough estimate on how much it would cost to build your own controller, I would like to try my hand at one but dont want it to cost the same as a Xone 3D

yes

so unless im missing something:

you put your beat in a clip
apply your effects
drag that clip to the browser
drag the clip from the browser to a slot without efx

it should have the effects and clip intact...

There is a program called spinrite, I have used it many times to recover files from many a dead hard drive. it fits on a floppy and will basicly scan the entire surface of the drive and rewrite all of the data to good parts of the drive.

I have recovered drives that would not even spin up. Also ...

Wow 300 bucks! I think I would rather get the csi cd and the book that came along with it. That would only cost you $100 and you could learn at your own pace instead of trying to digest a bunch of lessons in a day.
