This will help to delete programs completely, although I haven't tried it out yet myself

Ha ha... I'm not that bad!!! Cheers though, I'll have a better look later and maybe try installing a free vst, although I've been trying to keep clutter to a minimum as my hard drive's nearly full. Can you recommend any good free synth plug-ins?

I tried rescanning, and it goes straight to that folder, but when I click it it says it's already selected, yet, I can't see any of the plug-ins I've installed. There's no list of available devices in the plug-in folder. I'm only guessing there's something I haven't done properly in the installation ...
