Ableton Forum

It's about 2 years that Open Sound Control has been asked as a feature in this forum. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a priority. I will continue to put it in my wishlist, until it will be included into Live.
Maybe the partnership with Cycling '74 will change the situation...

i would say to stay a bit away from the walls to avoid strong reflections. i think that it doesn't care a lot if the sub is in front of you or shifted to the left/right, since very low frequencies do not suffer of too much directionality.

I would like to have a per-selection n-plet grid.

I often create beats or rythmic patterns using the arrangement view. In these occasions a way to have a grid subdivided in 5-plets (7-plets 11-plets etc...) to place my beat portions would be very useful.

i imagine something like ...

suppose you've sampled your favourite tangerine dream 5second pad for later processing in live...

then again suppose you've added two grain delays for harmonic treatment and you're changing your harmony by automating the pitch parameter of one grain delay with the Region/Loop section of your clip ...
