I just installed Live and I can't figure out how to make Live show ALL of my VST's. In the "Preferences" window it appears to only allow me to tell Live to look for and scan one folder and one path?
How do I instruct Live to scan and look for plugins at multiple paths and in different folders?

When Did Live Get The "Slice To Midi" Function?
Can someone tell me when Live got the "slice to midi" function for audio samples? I've been away from Live for a loooong time and I'm checking it out again. My last upgrade was Live 6, but I haven't had it installed in forever though. This is a cool feature. Has it been there all along without me ...

Can Live Do This?
I'm looking for a good software/pad controller combo to do remixes primarily. What I'd like to know is if Live has a setting where it will INSTANTLY trigger the clip you've just pressed, or does it always have to do that like four beat cycle count in (with the little clock icon) before you actually ...

Re: Can I Do This in Any Version Of Live?
Yeah, that's what I thought. I haven't kept up with the Ableton world for a lo....ng... time and thought they might have added that ability in a point update or something.
Thanks

Can I Do This in Any Version Of Live?
I have Live 6, which I never use. However, my current DAW lacks Lives "racks" feature. Could I save AU/VST instrument chains as one device in Live and then simply rewire that sound into my main DAW? Is this possible?

Authorizations And License Transfer Question?
I've owned Live for several years and really only used to "sort of" use it from time to time, so I stopped upgrading at version 6. I got a new computer several months ago and installed it with the intention of really starting to use it, but alas, other solutions always seem a better option for me ...

Routing MIDI Drum Synths In Live 6.
I have a question as to how something can be done, but I guess I'd have to know if it even CAN be done in Live 6 in the first place.
I own both EZ Drummer And Addictive Drums and I'd like to know this.

Extending midi notes?
I'm trying to extend the length of some of the notes in a midi sequence because they are too short and are ending too abruptly, not allowing for a natural sounding sustain to end.
I need to drag them out for a more natural sustain going into the next note, so I need the note before to actually ...

Ironic that it's called REASON.
Everytime a new version of Reason is released, all the critics commend it except for it's lack of support for audio recording and vst's.
I don't care much either way really, since I don't use Reason, so I really have no stake in this issue. I just find it beyond reason that Reason would not record ...

On another listen, I think it might actually be adding short notes instead of dropping any. I play da...da...da...and it records da...dada...da. I can't be sure, but it sounds like it's definately adding or duplicating certain single notes. I also don't think it's the polyphony issue because the ...
