Easier to use an audio send and use "audio line in" as a input for Winamp for example....

Midi Translator does the trick-almost !
I downloaded MidiTranslater and got 4 controller buttons to work
as up, down, left, and right - qwerty keyboard keys to move around

I think you may have missed my point- arrow keys on the qwerty keyboard do exactly what I
am after, only I would like to map buttons on my controller to accomplish the same thing.

I've got my controller set up to scroll through the scenes with a couple
buttons on a PCR 50-
What would be cool is if I could set up 4 controller buttons to go left/right and up/down
across the tracks and scenes to individual clips.
If this was combined with auto display of the clip editing menu ...

Ableton is audio- you have to set up the video through winamp-

Anyone run into this:
-Import clips, arrange them in scene-

Setup another scene with imported clips
-Play the 1st scene- loops scroll in the loop
explorer but I get no volume until I bump
the volume of the clip up and down- usually
after about 2.4 db increase the clip kicks in...

Live sending out sysex info to control outboard hardware-
effects units, lighting, etc...
So, for instance when you choose a scene, the vocal effects for that scene
are mapped to your outboard effects unit ...
Could lead to a million possibilities...

work around and notes
My work around for this is to leave a scene blank that triggers....
I also dump song info into blank samples of this scene (using the sample names for important info- original song bpm, etc.....

So I have been complaining that the auto BPM in warp has not been functioning correctly when I import loops from a source I know the exact bpm of... I've been transfering parts from our CD to Live to integrate into our live shows...

Original BPM in warp setting bogus...
Strangely, when I move a clip into Live, recorded at 126.25 bpm,
it says 148 in the original BPM section of warp- even though I
have Live set at 126 bpm, the same as the loop.
When I attempt to change the original BPM in the warp section,
it goofs up all the warp markers and plays 6.5 of the 8 ...

I've got the Digi V2- only one set of outputs.
I've got the Digi V2- only one set of outputs is available
and you can not use multiple soundcards with Live as far as I know.
It does have a headphone out - as well as digital and xlr in/outs.
I only get one set of output options for output and pre-listen.
Am I wrong? I'd love to have pre-listen ...
