I've checked in a v2 of live from Remote Audio and found out a demo 4.04 and neither of those have midi control over the Solo/Cue selector or the Pre/Post buttons...I was SO sure it was there before.

MidiYoke does work on Vista - have a look on the forums on the site - there's some security stuff yo uneed to switch off to be able to uninstall it. In fact for audi oyou need to switch most of the security, graphics and other rubbish in Vista to get a workable system.

I'm using Vista - I don't know if anything like this is possible on that O/S as I've only been using it for a few weeks now I'll have to have a look.
I had a look in midiOx via midiYoke to see if anthing was sent out by default from those buttons - unfortunately there isn't.

It's based on 3 midibox cores. I've built 2 controllers in the last 2 years - one a big Mackie Control Emulation and the three core one for when out and about. There are pics of both in the featured boxes in the ucapps gallery.....before you ask...yes I have used two buttons for A/B when ...

OK. If it's in the manual what page is it on?

It's been asked once b4 on the forum - no concrete answer was given except that you can't do it any more.

Is there a workaround perhaps?

I've not seen how the new xfader assigns work in the new beta yet - would anyone care to explain them please - sounds like good stuff.

I think part of the problem is the way people are wired up. There are as far as I know three types of people at the extreme - visual types, audio types, and touchy feely types. We're all a mix of all 3 but most people have a stronger bias towards the visual. Whereas, being musicians I guess most ...

It already does that - as long as you are just using repitch and not beats mode etc.

Will the new Live have a 'track transpose'. I've know lots of people screaming out for this one for composing & also live/DJ. Being able to automate (with a knob) the actual pitch of a track in a live situation would be a godsend.
