Old thread I know...but finally got this working after "making due" w/ my MPD.
Following the guide from above with the MPD settings...have MPD MIDI CLK set to "EXTERNAL" (midi info coming from Live)
If you're using "Rec Quantization" make sure it's set to the proper note value in Live:

Here's the problem, both scenerios in new blank, project
1st scenerio
-7 drum tracks grouped
-7 synth tracks grouped
ProjectMix will not "exclusively" arm recording track in any track or group, only arm multiple instances...
APC40 WILL exclusively arm and PM picks up

2nd scenerio
-7 drum tracks ...

Yeah, tried it thinking the same...

Anybody have a work around or know how to assign the Loop Bar start point to a rotary encoder? ...aside from keyboard shortcuts

Check if you have any audio clips set to "master" or "slave"
Delete any BPM autoamtion on the master channel (if any was recorded)

midi assignable the hot swap button

getting new video card and not sure.

Been using an M-Audio FW410 for years and always had issues with pops and dropouts...tried adjusting buffer and sample rates in Live and control panel, installed new hardware components in the ...

was hoping to find a solution to the sidechain-freeze issue....but no :(

I will throw out another workaround that I've been using for years (before I had even heard of the technique "sidechain compression")

Yep, I'm still using "click and drag" on the loop brackets cos I never found a solution to this.

I've looked and googled to find the MIDI mapping location for scrubbing clips IN ARRANGEMENT VIEW but to no avail....
I've tried MIDI mapping clips but it only seems to work while I have the clip launched in Session View...
What am I missing here>
