i'm developing a installation with lot;s of single speakers (each playing different sound).
which sound cards do you know with a lot of outputs?
I know the Zoom r24 can playback 24 tracks, do you know something that can play much much more?

Haha, I don't care. The controllers seem to be more manageable than Steinbergs' and will be definetly less expensive than NIs'.

my guess is, that you have the setting of the looper to be tempo synced to the tempo of your track (it's called quantization) .
so the looper will never start exactly when you press the switch, but it will start on the beat . thus, the loop stays in sync with the track in ableton. check this in the ...

hello, recently i experimented a lot with a vintage delay pedal.
so i go from the guitar to the pedal into a focusrite saffire 6 usb.
i really like the feedback loops the pedal produces & then i work with this in live.
now my problem is.. sometimes this gets a bit out of control, so that the input ...

no sure if this is a solution: you can build yourself a rack of loopers. put them all in the chain & leave 1 clean chain. each of them can have a fixed length assigned.

one way to do it: create a new track in session view.
for "audio from" you select the track you want to record.
arm the track, hit record.
play your track & manipulate all the macros you want to manipulate.
hit stop.
now you have a audio recording of your clip.

ok. don't panic.
the setting as seen in this screenshot should play your clip for 8 bars & then play the next clip.
