Hi , when i map a 14bit absolute controller to a macro and set this controller to full (16383), the mapped macro incorrectly displays 126 instead of 127 (min max range is set to 0,127).
I mapped this macro to a parameter, and it is set correctly to its maximum value despite macro showing value 126 ...

how?


baring in mind that in the lifeset i will be using two (and the dummie t.) tracks; one for part A and the other for part B.

the user can set: amount, phase, cycles per bar for each of these modules and this curve is than nor4malized so that the lowest and highest value is stretched ...

live's rack would have to have (64 (or even 128) macro knobs, which you would assign to anything you want. then, a selected track, would "route" incoming midi cc to that rack. or even, each midi channel could correspond to a track.

i would like to see curves for crossfades in session view. one could set this up in preferences so no extra space in the GUI is needed. every style/person requires different curves. By allowing the user to draw a map on a 128*128pixel xy map, strange crossfades would be possible too.

its not cheating! its just helping us to make new sounds. you wilways have to craft after randmization, its just a quick way to go through the soundspectrums an instrument can produce.
