Are you using a hub on the USB bus from your machine?

If so, I've had similar problems, but all due to the power supply of the hub (or the lack thereof).

If you start Live without you Imic connected, Live will automatically fall back to whatever builtin audio interface that it sees (At least it does so on my Macbook pro).
So the trick is, if you want to save your audio setup in Live, don't start it without the imic connected...

Just one "dumb" question: Are you filtering the midi channel in Live, or in the VSTi?
In the midi input section on each midi track there should be a midi channel selector as well.

This is most probably due to the fact that B4 doesn't receive the midi note off value when the note ends exactly when the clip ends.
I've also had this issue with my B4 in Live, when switching my controller from B4 to M1 og other AU plugins. (eg switching zones)

I've got a Live set that's set up for recording both internal and external tracks.
It contains about 20 scenes. Sometimes when I change from one scene to another, the track meters, cpu meters ...

Are we going to see 64 bit support in Live by the time that leopard gets out?

I've had the same issue (Both with a Acer Travelmate 8000 and a HP NX9420). I've narrrowed it down to be a problem with common ground.
In my case it has always been the laptop's power supply that caused the problem.
