Re: Problems with an SSL Nucleus - Ableton Live MCU protocol ?
I'm having similar issues with my Nucleus after the upgrade to 9 too.

Re: The Transition from Ableton Live 9 Beta to the REAL version?
Thanks Angstrom, it was the new look for the account area that had me then.. it had defaulted to the 'add new license' page and the only other option in the drop down was labelled Suite 8 upgrade, but all my licenses are listed under there. Back in action

Re: The Transition from Ableton Live 9 Beta to the REAL version?
Ah OK, where do I get the new version then? I take it this is on the Beta forum, but the instructions for joining this forum I got in the email when I joined didn't work, so have not been seeing posts in there at all.

Re: The Transition from Ableton Live 9 Beta to the REAL version?
I'm wondering the same thing, had assumed it would be the same as with previous beta versions as Angstrom has just mentioned, but my beta died at the weekend. I don't have any stuff as critical as this with deadlines looming, but there are a couple of nice ideas I started in the 9 beta I'd like to ...

Re: rising pitch synth effect
Haven't used Albino in a while but you should be able to get a rising pitch effect with an envelope assigned to an oscillators pitch with a long attack.
Just choose an envelope ('Osc 1 Envelope' for example) in the left column of the 'Mod Matrix', then choose 'Osc 1 Pitch' in the right column ...

Re: The Bridge versus MsPinky
I got Ms Pinky recently and have to say that I'm not finding there to be noticeable latency (although I haven't tried it with any other audio interfaces) and it tracks the vinyl really well. Like others have said though, it did take a bit of tweaking to get working as I expected it to.

Can someone help me setup the inter-application bus, the tutorial video mentions (Midi oak + iec bus) basically in need to create the ports

This is confusing me a bit too. I tried to add another port to the IAC Bus, but the naming conventions don't ...

Re: I need iPhone DJ help
Touch OSC all the way. It's perfect for this kind of thing, and the patch editors so easy to use you could probably even knock up a quick custom patch to interact with Live exactly how you want to in 10 minutes.

Re: PadKontrol help.
You will need to have 'Remote' enabled on the input to use Live's MIDI mapping. 'Track' will just pass MIDI note messages through to instruments on MIDI tracks in Live.

Re: Better way to keep audio tails???
:? If you have a reverb or delay on an individual track, triggering another clip in the same track shouldn't cut off the tail of the effect. Even if you stop the clip in a particular track and start a clip in another track, the tail of the effect shouldn't be cut short, unless you are automating the ...

Strange behaviour when warping flac files anyone?
I've got a recurring problem when trying to warp flac files. Often when zooming in to accurately align transients to beat divisions, the waveform display completely disappears to be replaced with a blank area. Audio also degrades to popping and glitching noise or just silence at this point.

Re: ableton iphone app
First, the iDrum plug-in for your computer is dirt cheap, I think it's like $50. It intergrates perfectly between the iphone. You can import/export both MIDI and samples between both your computer and iphone. So let's say you bang out a cool beat and sequence on the bus on your iphone, when you ...

Re: ableton iphone app
Does it really export MIDI Tarekith? I'd love to know how you get it to do this. Do you have to have iDrum for your computer too?
