Hmmm, bit off-topic, never mind.

Select 'bus' icon on the bottom right hand of window and click on inputs. Deselect/Select the link icon (I can't remember which way round). Anyway you tell it's working when the levels on both indicators start moving and not just the one.

I think this is right.

Yes.

You don't say if you are attempting this or if you are just asking the question but if you do have a copy of Live:

Set the preferences 'Monitor Through Live' to yes.

When recording to your track of choice ensure the monitor switch is set on (the one that goes orange when selected).

Hmmmm....let's think laterally here..

How about a VST plugin that converts midi control and note message to audio tones. Play back your track and the plugin converts them back to midi messages again (it supresses the audio and you can't touch the track volume). The left channel has a sync signal to ...

My apologies if this one has been mentioned before.

1. Go to file browser window.
2. External to the application delete the directory Live is currently pointing at.
3. Browser window goes blank and there is no way to re-populate it.
